Everyone has dreams, abilities and hopes for what they want to become. Sometimes, encouragement or a good opportunity can help us move closer to those dreams.

THE STORY

Two Dreams, One Hope

Azizah and Nawaz are two young refugees living in Malaysia. Their lives have been affected by difficult circumstances, but they continue to study and think about their future.

Azizah dreams of becoming an engineer. Education is important to her because she wants to build a better future and work towards her dream. Nawaz dreams of becoming a pilot.

Because of his circumstances, Nawaz missed several years of schooling. His father taught him at home before he was able to attend school. When he eventually started school, he had to work hard to catch up with other students. But he continued studying and thinking about his future.

Azizah and Nawaz have different backgrounds and different experiences. But they share something familiar to many young people around the world: They have dreams for their future.

They want to learn. They want opportunities. And they want their education to help them become the people they hope to be. Their circumstances are part of their stories, but they are not the whole story.

Behind every situation is a person with abilities, hopes, challenges and dreams.
